Believe me, if you’re reasonably confident, it’s only scary before you do it. Just like anything else. I give thanks every day now that I can live this life now.

Loving the evolution from a “pedal to the metal” mentality to a "writing for writing’s sake" mentality. Hopefully, I'll have this kind growth propensity to look forward to when I finally retire.

Love this, Cork. It's interesting to think of different experiences for different people under similar umbrellas. For me, given writing is my career, my "retirement" is ideally only writing this newsletter, so I approach it differently. I love reading all the angles.
