A Blunt Oregon Girl - Wendy Elizabeth Williams
The first time I read one of Wendy Elizabeth William’s posts, I thought to myself, “Now this is a writer after my own heart”.
Much of our stories are similar. Wendy and I are close in age and both have lived, shall we say, interesting lives pre-Christ. Just as the title of her Substack suggests, she is blunt - telling it like it is. She doesn’t mince words.
Wendy is much bolder than I am in the sense of not hesitating to hang all her flaws out there in a very visible way - Not to ask for sympathy because she turns right around and claims God’s grace to cover them all and declares her victory in Christ alone.
If you feel that there is no hope in this world or as a Christian, you have been taught that the Christian life is perfect and without blemish and heartache, yet your experience is exactly the opposite, then A Blunt Oregon Girl is for you. Wendy speaks to the heart.
I have been impressed from the start and continue to read, enjoy, and value Wendy’s writing.
Check her out and give her a shout …
