A Short Word of Gratitude To the Many New Subscribers and Followers of Life UnCorked
My Heart is Overwhelmed
At the start of this new writing year (my 2nd), I made a vow to myself that I would just concentrate on publishing relevant articles and stories and not constantly look at the # of Subscribers/followers (something most new writers tend to do) to my two newsletters: Life UnCorked and The Talking Pen. Let the chips fall where they may.
For the most part, I’ve stuck to that.
When I did look after a couple of months, I was blown away by what I saw. So, I wanted to write a short post to welcome all the new subs and followers. Thank you from the depths of my heart.
I know that most readers subscribe to or follow many newsletters on Substack, so I am grateful to be included in the “'stack of stuff” you read each day.
There are several ways to access a writer’s posts. For Subscribers, your email inbox is the most convenient. If you have a subscription, you can also log in to Substack and see posts on the Substack Inbox tab, you can interact in Chat sessions through the app and participate in Notes.
One of the most effective ways to get to know a writer, however, is to peruse their personal Substack site. There you can read their About page and see the various categories of posts.
For instance, my two Substack sites, Life UnCorked and The Talking Pen are organized by the various topics I write about. I would encourage new readers to go to each site and take a look to see what may be of interest.
Keep in mind that there is no paid subscription for either of the newsletters at this time, so it costs nothing to jump on board.
The Talking Pen is my newest newsletter focused on creative writing. It is filled with fiction and non-fiction stories, fictional series, other creative pieces, and a short memoir. Check it out:
And, if you enjoy what you read, please share it with your friends and family.
Again, welcome aboard. Your support means the world to me.
